#BetterTogether
In 2015, several groups got together and rallied behind the tag: #BetterTogether to highlight seeing people with disabilities and their successes because of inclusive education.
#BetterTogether was started in June 2015 connecting a group of inclusion advocates, including ParaEducate. The hope is by reaching out and using the hashtag through social media, we would start being able to reach the audience of people outside of inclusion and disability awareness. ParaEducate is proud to participate with #BetterTogether. It is an opportunity to share resources between all of our different organizations and strengthen the community of inclusive education in the United States and Canada. While there are currently fifteen recognized members, there are many more joining us and we’re honored to be a part of this effort. After all, we are all in this together, and we can’t do inclusion without help because we are always #BetterTogether. Look for the hashtag in social media, share with your friends and family, and share with us why we are #BetterTogether.
