We had to dust off our archives but this time, we were much more prepared than our last blog/website shift. However, the way those saved archives work is nothing like the way our new website works.

The good news, our website is now a lot more technical than it has been previously. The challenging news, the layout is something we are still working through.

The best news: our website and blog are now aligned more so than ever.

February

Pulled in many different directions, getting to February entirely different than the pulling that happens in October. There is a need for a bigger rhythm and new materials should be more often at this point.

But this is also where consistency becomes very important.

How do you build that in?

For inclusive programs, you are going to follow the lead of the classroom teacher. Whatever they are asking, however they are implementing, this feels familiar.

For Special Education Classrooms, the world is going to be a bit rougher. Especially in places where the weather has not been as nice to allow students time outdoors. But all the things that are complicated, there are things that are much easier.

And One More…

It is our anniversary month! We are officially “three” on the twenty-ninth. It feels surreal now. And yet there is still a lot more work to do.

  • We will work on getting our blog archives returned (Summer 2024)
  • We have a new publication in process for the first time in two years (Fall 2024)
  • We are preparing new curriculum to place in our store (Spring 2024)

While we do not have any speaking venues on the horizon, we also look forward to finally getting back together with some professional contacts we have made over the year.

We have to reflect a lot about our humble origins. It was just simply an idea. And then a book. And now it remains so much more.
